Does Anyone use a Finger Ring for Crochet/Knitting?

Just googled finger ring for knitting never come across them before be interested to hear other peoples experiences

I bought one but keep forgetting to use it.

I think they would be great for a beginner to crochet as they would tension your work nicely but I have been crocheting for 55 years so my tension is always pretty consistent.

I have seen crochet/knitting rings online recently, and wondered whether they are useful. I suppose I would have to get used to crocheting a slightly different way. Does anyone use one, and if so, did it improve the crochet/knitting experience?
