Thanks, all! Unlike many, there was no pattern for the hand puppet, so I adapted one I’d used several times before, for a Teddy puppet.
Oh, goodness, though - I’m more than ever in awe of the clever people who design such patterns! The head needed to be a lot bigger and fatter and it took me ages to fiddle out how to do it.
The ears (much longer and floppier) were much easier, once it finally dawned that I could make the ‘linings’ (slightly smaller) simply by making them exactly the same - but with a size smaller needle.
Anything so obvious typically takes ages to dawn on me!
