Witzend beautiful work as always. Have you seen the yarn bombing in Formby . The creations are amazing. If you look at the Liverpool echo online there are pictures of the things people have made .

I live in north yorkshire and we have the wonderful Yarn Bombers in Thirsk. They do the most amazing knitted things and they are put all round on posts and ends of seats etc all round the town. They have done all sorts of themes over the years and are fantastic to see. I enjoy seeing them myself and pass their details on to others so that they can enjoy them. They have ranged from wonderful rememberance poppy theme to the coronation of King Charles which included a coach and crowns etc, guard with bearskin . I think if you look up Yarnbombers Thirsk you might be able to look at them. Fingers crossed, I am pleased to say that I have not seen any of these marvellous creations vandalized and they are much appreciated by all

I’ve looked up both of those, Whiff and madeleine45 - lovely to see people’s such clever creations! I never see any around here, alas, but to a lesser extent than your two, I’ve seen some in Hawes, where a sister lives.

I’d really like to make a 🎄post box topper for Gdcs’ road, but all the patterns are either crochet, which I can’t do, or else on 4 needles, which I hate (and am rubbish at!).

Witzend could you do one on circular needles. One of my craft group does most things on circular needles as she finds it easier plus she hates sewing up.

Thank you, but I'm just a fairly average knitter. The talented ones are those who design all the brilliant patterns - for free! I honestly wouldn’t know where to start.

I love them and your work is so beautiful. I have recently joined a knit and natter group and most of them there knit little items like this. I just don’t have the patience. Well done to you.
