What do you think of it so far?

Poor kitty was only doing what they are good at. Please do not keep it in your bad books. Knitting can be redone but when we lose our furbabies we cannot get them back.

Kitty thought it was theirs to do with as they wish. Not a naughty cat at all.

Many years ago I knitted a jumper for our daughter, with The Willow Tree Pattern. As there were many changes of colour from blue-black-white, I had tiny skeins hanging from the back, ready to use.
Our cat thought it had been invented just for him! 😼

My friends at craft group all say the same their cats love playing with yarn or finished works. Many have had yarn and clothing ruined by their moggy. There must be something in the yarn that attracts cats. Those with dogs say they don't have that problem.

Not long ago I found that one of DD’s cats had attacked both sleeves of a lovely pink and white cable jumper the other granny had made for younger Gdd.

I did manage some sort of repair, somewhat cobbled together, but thanks to the pattern it doesn’t show too much - at least she can still wear it.

What a shame!
