This looks like its a cheap and cheerful kit made to be exported to many countries but nobody wanted the expense of writing the pattern in many languages.
If you can hook a growing circle starting from a short chain joined with a slip stitch or magic loop you can do this!
You have two polystyrene balls, one larger for the body and a smaller one for the head.
Start with the body. In red, hook a circle increasing each round to almost the circumference of the large ball, add a round of black (not increasing) then go back to red and start decreasing the circle to with a few rounds of the end of the ball (see pic 20). Then switch to pink and in a similar fashion create an increasing circle then decreasing for the head.
The arms look like a tiny circle then work straight (no increasing) until you have sausage shapes.
The hat looks like a small circle to start, work straight for a few rounds then increase outwards. Then two rows in white for the edging.
The beard is just a flat shape increasing or decreasing either end depending on which way up you want to work it.
Frustrating as it is, one you understand the structure, this becomes a scaleable project if say you had larger size balls (stop giggling at the back) or just wanted to stuff Santa!
Or just stuff the whole project and make something else!
