It just doesn't happen like that

I had just started sewing when the bobbin ran out, Oh no!

I opened the little drawer and took out a full bobbin in the right colour, the little cover came off easily, the new bobbin slotted straight in, the thread went in the little tabs, the needle picked up the bobbin thread straight away and less than two minutes later I am sewing again.

It just doesn't happen - must have been very good sometime today for the angels to look down on me.

And the other day I got to the end of a seam with an inch of bobbin thread to spare, and that never happens but the opposite does!

You have both been sew lucky, I usually try to speed up before the thread runs outgrin
