Hi all

I’ve just finished this crochet bed throw for my son’s bed. It will go along the bottom of his king size bed. I just didn’t have the time or energy to do a complete bed cover!

Made with DK on a 4mm hook. Dark green, mid green, white and yellow.

I started it before christmas and it was promised before Easter. So chuffed as he can take it home with him at the weekend when he calls here for my birthday! Yahoo!

I love it, it's beautiful. I am not practical and I can't knit, sew, crochet, cook, paint etc... but I always admire people who can.

That’s gorgeous! I can’t crochet but my sister does, I use as sofa throws the cot blankets she made for my nearly 40 year old DD!

Thank you.

I initially intended to make a stroller blanket for charity then my son saw it and asked if he could have the bed throw. So I made it for him. I’ll make a stroller blanket but not right now. I think I am daisied up!!! Haha!

So well done purple pixie, it's beautiful and joining all those flower granny squares together is a work of true tenacity & devotion!
I love crochet but this would test my patience severelyconfused
Just out of interest, what method did you use?

Fairislecable Wed 25-Mar-26 14:28:29

I have seen this design and loved it but when I realised how much wool was needed to make it I changed my mind. I know I just would not be tenacious enough to finish it.

It’s really lovely well done.

Thank you. I sewed them together one way and crocheted them together another. Then edges in single crochet stitch.

It's absolutely stunning.
What a lot of work .
If I could crochet I'd like to make a sea of flowers on green !
I'm visiting my crochet lady today as she's been in hospital .
Despite having many illnesses and impaited sight she crochets all day.
