Having had an engineer here this morning I realised after he'd gone that I was wearing odd earrings [bet he thought 'dotty old woman' sad]. It made me look in the mirror properly. I put pretty much the same make up on each day and could probably do it with my eyes closed and, quite frankly that's how it looked. So, from now on I'm going to use the magnifying mirror. It's not a pleasant sight but I've been painting on eyebrows where I think they should be [not where they are] etc. And as for eyeliner and stuff like that; oh dear blush.

Sorry everyone I am not all that good with links.
It was supposed to be a picture of Raquel W at the Awards
She looked well for 70 odd smile

Ana Tue 25-Feb-14 15:53:13

How would we know? confused
Never mind...

Nonu Tue 25-Feb-14 15:40:56

I would imagine if you relied on your face and figure for your living you would use everything that was available to help !
Actors and actresses just have to , to keep themselves in work and why not , I say !!

Elegran Tue 25-Feb-14 15:11:54

dollie Tue 25-Feb-14 14:59:31

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 14:27:31

Red dress in my link. Which does work!

Elegran Tue 25-Feb-14 14:25:25

Leopardskin print dress?

I believe the skin on her shoulders and chest, and her still fabulous bosom, but that face has had a lot of moisturiser and a good layer of makeup.

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 14:13:39

You did scroll down a bit did n't you?

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 14:12:30

That link works! hmm

She's got a red frock on. And she' s standing by a gold statue thing.

Elegran Tue 25-Feb-14 14:04:43

Sorry www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/09/23/raquel-welch-emmys-party-pictures_n_3975053.html

Elegran Tue 25-Feb-14 14:04:13

Did Cathy mean to use this link?

soop Tue 25-Feb-14 13:26:20

jings nothing came up for me. Could there be a gremlin lurking online. confused

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 13:24:14

She's only 73 anyway! hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 13:23:23

always was a strapping lass

Bet she works out in the gym. Prob got muscles under that frock. I reckon she's thickened. hmm

soop Tue 25-Feb-14 13:19:22

jings I discovered a dog wearing a feather boa! I would guess that Raquel is in her late 70s.

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 13:11:59

It's not meant to be a joke soop. The link has gone wrong. It was supposed to be a picture of Raquel Welch looking lovely, at a ripe old age.

How old is she anyway?

Ana Tue 25-Feb-14 13:11:37

How is it possible for so many of us to see different links? confused

kittylester Tue 25-Feb-14 13:05:52

So, Cathy put on a link to Racquel Welsh looking good for her age. When I clicked on the link, I just got a dog with daft ears as, I presume , did Ana. This was funny for the first four or five posts!! Then it became apparent that lots of people were getting different things so it stopped being funny!

I think!!

soop Tue 25-Feb-14 12:55:31

As per...I'm not "getting the joke". Ditto Ariadne...

Ariadne Tue 25-Feb-14 11:58:34

Give us encouragement for what?

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 25-Feb-14 10:25:16

I would n't want to model myself on any ageing Hollywood star. She's led a different life from mine. And no doubt some things, she wins. And some things I do.

I get the dog.
