My real Christmas tree from last year is looking a bit sorry for itself - to put it mildly! So I'm thinking of getting an artificial one this year. But I hate the stands that they come on. Obviously on Christmas Day it'll be obscured by presents but in the meantime what can I do to make it look less...plastic?
