I also use mine on the car windows which at this time of year have a lot of condensation.

We use undiluted screencleaner (bought from supermarkets) in proportions of 1 to 4 (mixed with water).

This is far far far less inexpensive than buying a proprietary cleaner which is 3/4 water!

V expensive water!

Thanks for the replies I used mine to-day with just a drop of fairy liquid in the bottle and was impressed. I got the latest model with two head one small enough for little panes in the doors and it was reduced to £49 in Tesco . I thought this was a good price.

Stardrops is great for cleaning glass, old fashioned but fantastic.

Great for cleaning the condensation and splashes in the shower, too - if you stand it outside the shower while you are in there showering, you can reach round the door before you get out and run it down the tiles walls and door while standing there. It fills up with an amazing amount of water, no wonder mould builds up on the grouting.

I love it for the dripping condensation in the bathroom . And for a nightmare glass coffee table.

Do you mean to say ..... shock
Actually, mine hasn't seen the light of day since last summer.
Could not clean windows balancing on one leg, that's my excuse.

I bought one about a year ago and haven't got it out of its box yet...blush

The diluted cleaning fluid goes in the spray bottle.
Presumably one came with the Karcher vacuum window cleaner.

I bought some little sachets of Karcher own make window cleaning fluid, quite cheap from B&M or somewhere similar.

Bucket of water and a few drops of washing up liquid. I don't use the spray bottle I just slosh it on with a sponge and then Karcher it off. No smears, one of my best household buys!

I think the OP means the little spray bottle that comes with it. I don't bother with the bottle, instead use Windolene spray or water with washing liquid.

You don't put anything in the Karcher ?

Washing up liquid for me as well.

Bellasnana Mon 09-Jan-17 12:49:10

I use just a couple of drops of washing up liquid. Bought a Karcher on recommendations of other Gransnetters and am very pleased with it.

I bought one in Tesco this morning with no cleaning fluid to go with it . What do you use in yours please ?
