Tesco vouchers

I only use Tesco for petrol but I do have a clubcard. They occasionally send vouchers linked to what you've spent and you can convert these on line to CLUBCARD BOOST which makes them worth more. I then swap them for vouchers at various restaurants (prezzo and the line). Sorry I haven't explained this well but my understanding is that £2.50 converted to 'boost' is then worth £10.

I do my main shopping at Tesco because it's very convenient and easy to park except in the mad dash just before Christmas. Voucher or no voucher, I've noticed that the weekly bill has gone up alarmingly over the last few weeks. I don't want to go to Alton Towers either.

I've just been sent some vouchers too, spend £40, and I no longer do my main shop there, just use them for the odd item I can't get at Aldi. They try and tempt you back with them, that's the reason, if you shop there regularly you won't get any. If you want to get some, shop elsewhere for a while.

I stopped doing my main shop at Tesco a while ago as in our local store they annoyed me intensely with nearly every single aisle absolutely choc-a-bloc with rude staff pushing those huge trolleys round (internet shopping?), pushing in front of you, blocking the shelves and not moving. Not to mention Tesco's other trick of constantly reducing lines so you can no longer get things you want, no warning, just suddenly ... gone. You might think they are just out of stock that week, but no, never seen again.

I'm a bit annoyed to find out they send vouchers to customers who don't shop in Tesco. We do all our shopping there and don't get such offers.

radicalnan - I had the same problem and 'phoned Tesco. The man I spoke to thanked me for taking the time to ring and sent me a voucher for £10 instead.

We get these vouchers quite often and try to use them as they are fairly generous, the latest being £6 off £40. We have never encountered any problems with having alcohol included in the amount.

We shop online with Tesco. We use the Clubcard vouchers for my husbands Senior Railcard, annual joint membership of English Heritage and there's usually enough left to ensure a day out at a theme park for gs.

Tesco voucher for days out never appeal to me. I want some bloke to come and dig the garden not a day put at Alton Towers...........

People who live alone don't benefit much because we don't spend enough to get the offers 'spend £60' said Waitrose............where would I put 60 quids worth of baked beans.....got 27 toilet rolls under the bed from previous offers.

I shop online regularly with Tesco, using the vouchers. I nearly always have some alcohol included, and I still get my discount

I think you need a Tesco Clubcard leeds22 - makes sense if you mainly shop there. I use Tesco almost exclusively as we live in the heart of the countryside & they used to be the only supermarket delivering out here. I find them excellent & we both have clubcards & get very useful money-off vouchers which we just use for groceries

If I don't do a regular shop at Ocado they will often send me a voucher for up to £20.00 off an order for £60/80sI use it when I need to stock up on heavier items that I don't have to carry from my car to my house,tins/dog food/cleaning items.
Do Tesco's still do reward points where you can double/triple them according to certain promotions such as children's toys/kitchenware etc.

Most of my shopping is at Tesco and I never get vouchers. I (very) occasionally shop at Waitrose but often get sent a load of £8 off a £40 shop vouchers, which you can spend on anything, including wine and spirits. So I use them as a chance to stock up. If I get 2 vouchers I go round twice!

So much for treating regular customers well.

Im afraid Im one of these who does not use a loyalty card anywhere .

There is enough infiltration of our transactions through Mr Google, on line shopping, to give Mr Tesco any more

There used to be good bargains in the Tesco reduced section, alas no more.

All the supermarkets do it if you don't shop there for a while. Even Lidl which I used to love for the simplicity of "this is what we sell, this is the price, buy it or don't buy it." is now going down the special offers route and I noticed yesterday the prices in Lidl have gone up, especially the fruit and veg. The price of expansion I suppose.
Sounds generous but bet they've upped the price on some standard items like toilet rolls to get their money back.
The tills will be programmed to take all the exclusions into account. Also sometimes special offers won't count towards the total so be careful.

They definitely do enforce these exclusions.
This is another example of companies not rewarding loyal customers.We regularly spend upward of £100 at Tesco each week but have never received such a generous voucher as £15 off.

I would imagine that the tills are programmed that way. I think you are falling into a Tesco trap. I don't use vouchers unless it's for buying or shopping in my usual way.
