Congratulations!
I think it is a lovely idea, but would also consider a Malvina Reynolds' song that I love;
If you love, if you love, love, love me
Plant a rose for me
But if you think you'll love me for a long, long time
Plant an apple tree.

Apple trees take up more room than roses though!

Many congratulations grannymouse303. Your idea is a lovely one and that does look a lovely rose. I've has a look at Fryers Roses for you and found that they also do one called Diamond Days Forever. It's £12.99. Here's the link

I have my 60th wedding anniversary next month and I'm undecided on what to get the better half. It's quite a big one but he doesn't like to make a fuss.

I was recommended this 60th anniversary gift of a rose bush from a friend and it looks gorgeous, I also get a free card if I buy this.

Please could I have opinions or experiences of nice anniversary gifts?
