Do you rinse ?

On the occasions I don't use the dishwasher, I do rinse and stack so everything can drain and dry but do not wipe with a tea towel.

Village Hall kitchens have to have double sinks so that dishes can be washed in one and then rinsed in the other. If you are going to regularly use them to serve food the person in charge should have a food hygeine certificate and this involves being taught to wash up "properly" which means washing ,then rinsing , then drying. Now you know!

I rinse too,wash in one sink and rinse under a hot running tap in the other ,no dishwasher I got rid of it years ago,I like washing dishes it gives me thinking time..lol

I always rinse if hand washing things - depending how much I have to do I often put the suds on a sponge with a scrubby back and wash the items under a running tap or if doing a lot I clear the decks and fill one sink with clean hot water and the other with sudsy water - after washing pop into the clean hot water. I like tea towels which dry and polish too. I have some I got in US which are made from flour sacks - they are lint free and polish things well.

Never.Absolutely no need in my opinion. Have never tasted washing up liquid on anything.

I always rinse. Don't want to eat any washing up liquid, thank you. If it's good enough for the dishwasher to rinse (and I don't use rinse aid either), it's good enough for washing up by hand IMO.

I only rinse glasses.

Never used a dish washer and never rinse Wash, leave to dry, put away,spend as little time in the kitchen as possible

If I have to wash by hand I only rinse glasses. Like Charleygirl I have a dishwasher.

I rinse plates and mugs because otherwise I taste the washing up liquid on the mugs. In fairness I rarely wash up because I have a dishwasher.

I rinse the plates before washing them in suds then rinse again ! Sounds like I've got OCD ?

I rinse. Can't stand the taste /smell of washing up liquid lingering on the cutlery and crockery.

No, never rinse after washing up. I like to dry up and put away, my DH always leaves everything to drain.

No, I never rinse hand washed dishes. I might if I had a double sink, but I don't see the need really.
