Anyone have a tried and tested solution to cats using your garden as a toilet. We have had two new neighboutrs move in this year both with cats, and both use my front and back garden as a toilet. They also try to hunt the birds who use my feeding station. dont want to harm them but would like a way of detering them.

Cats definitely do poo on grass, I have gone out and chased them while they were in the process, dominant male cats are not afraid to leave their calling cards. This is why I changed my fencing, couldn't have GC playing on the lawn where the cats had been.

Get some pebbles - not gravel but big enough so they can't dig. We used to have loads coming in our garden but put pebbles down and they stopped

Send them over to me. Sadly I now live in rented accommodation and cannot have a cat. I have written cat articles for newspapers so need to research my articles for an answer.
