I'm in a 'bottomless pit' mode today - just can't eat enough!

So far I've had:

2 fried eggs, tomatoes, avocado, 2 coffees
Sea bass fillets, red cabbage & salad, 2 glasses of wine
3 slices of bacon, brown sauce, on a buttered brioche bun
1 mini Magnum

I'm still hungry!

Grannyknot Wed 26-Dec-18 19:18:49

I enjoyed my food today:

Smoothie made with frozen berries, milk, banana and honey
Soup made from leftover roast rib of beef, celery, carrot, onion, tomatoes and lentils. It was y-u-m-m-y!

Cheese and biscuits

Now about to eat Christmas pudding with custard and fresh cream.

BBbevan Wed 26-Dec-18 14:01:49

1 tea, 1 coffee plus a few grapes.
Slow walk to the sea with old aunt
Bubble and squeak with a fried egg for lunch.
Buffet of cold meats, salad, vol au vents and other party food for tea. Plus a whopping cream covered trifle and Christmas cake.,?

Lynne59 Wed 26-Dec-18 13:45:17

I ate far too much yesterday - soup, the full Christmas dinner, then chocolates, crackers, quiche and mince pies throughout the day.

Today (Boxing day) :
coffee, a mince pie

coffee, fresh orange juice, a roast beef sandwich, 6 After Eight mints.

I'm going to my son's later, so we'll have buffet food.... all that snacking...

Nothing worse than that really full feeling. Puts a strain on the heart as well and I have to avoid that at all costs. I now only eat what I need with fruit and nuts in between. My stomach's gearing up for elevenses,it's rumbling-----just what I like to hear.

I just wish I was on a fast day today - I ate so much yesterday I still feel full now!

We’ve family coming over and I’ve made some very rich pies and a trifle, that they will probably fancy about as much as I do. tchsmile

EllanVannin Wed 26-Dec-18 08:19:01

I'm done with over-eating---takes a couple of days to get over it and because there are so many trimmings attached to a Christmas dinner I only had 5 roasties instead of the usual 8 ! Sprouts and mushy peas, then trifle which left me pleasantly content.
Sandwich at teatime and that was that, no chocs.

This morning my usual thickly buttered crumpets and a mug of hot chocolate. Salad later. Maybe some choc gingers in between. Coffee with rum in it at 11 and a hot mince pie.

LullyDully Wed 26-Dec-18 08:18:23

Oh it's not been good. Normally have a decent diet.

Today, eating what's going/not intended for Christmas.

Nutty muesli with prunes and yogurt. Two mugs of tea.

One Hero from the box - a square of Cadburys Dairy Milk, with a coffee.

Tea. One mince pie with lots of brandy cream.

One home measure G&T with five Sainsbury's very moreish puff pastry cheese thins.

I think we are about to have another G&T (can hear clinking of ice in the kitchen) and we have a roast chicken, just cooked, which we are going to have with roasted tomatoes and vegetable rice in about an hour. (I have used up loitering vegetables.)

EllanVannin Sun 23-Dec-18 19:35:40

The usual thickly buttered crumpets and a hot chocolate for breakfast.

Mashed/creamed potatoes, lge pork chop and broad beans.
Coffee and mints. An organic apple.

Cup of tea. I might have a mince pie in a mo..

Greyduster...yes, and once they have been opened, well they have to be scoffed grin. My husband scoffed an entire box of Dairy Box last night - someone had bought them for me, but I find them too fatty... I wouldn't mind, but my husband isn't overweight. It's just not fair.

Greyduster Sun 23-Dec-18 17:39:49

Two ginger biscuits; a slice of toast with honey; half an Eccles cake; about four cups of coffee; roast pork, roast potatoes, cauliflower and carrots, with a glass of red wine.
why did my husband have to open them?. Well, you just have to, don’t you........??

MiniMoon Sun 23-Dec-18 17:25:07

So far today I've had;
Cup of tea and one small slice of toast.
Cup of coffee
2 chicken tacos with mexican potatoes and salad.
Cup of tea and shortbread. (I made it myself and very good it is too)
1 piece of Edinburgh castle rock
For supper, just something simple, perhaps a sandwich of some sort, there's plenty of stuff in the fridge!!!
