Thanks all. I had a look at the Ideal Home on-line and it looks as if it would be a practical one. Homes for real people rather than rich people. However I do love to browse the beautiful magazines too.
That landscape mag looks beautiful SueDonim I can see why you subscribed. We don't have much on the shelves in my little town which is why I asked on here. Thanks for all your suggestions.
I'm not sure if you want a house-based magazine but if not, then Landscape is beautiful. It had gorgeous articles and photographs often with quotations and lines of poetry dotted through it.
Thanks. Essentials seems to be discontinued. I suppose I was hoping you might know of some for young mums with not much cash. A bit modern Prima is ok. Funnily we were featured in it about 10 yrs ago.
I was thinking of the printed version. Too much time is spent on-line. Get me!!
I thought Prima was aimed more at an older age group, though the patterns are good. I subscribe myself and the DDs have never shown any interest. They seem to like Grazia.
I'm thinking of subscribing to a magazine as a housewarming present for DD . I would have chosen good housekeeping or country living but they both look a teeny bit dull and traditional for a younger generation. Suggestions welcome please or another idea for a gift.
