Good foundation for mature skin.

I had this problem and tried quite a few primers and foundations and BB creams. I am currently using Boots no7 Airbrush Away Radiance Boosting Primer, followed by No7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action Serum Foundation.

it does not show the pores, nor does it exaggerate any lines or wrinkles, I'm more than happy with this combination

I don’t use a foundation but I have been using The Ordinary products to improve the condition of my skin and the outcome is that my skin is not so dry and pores are less evident. I buy from the Deciem website as I haven’t seen these products in shops. Might be worth a try.

I don’t use foundation any more as it tends to sit on my skin and look ageing. I use a BB or a DD cream- at the moment I’m using M&S autograph bb cream. It gives just enough coverage, but looks natural, as if I’m not wearing makeup at all. Then I go to town with kohl eyeliner and red lipstick, and a little bit of blusher.

I use the Garnier BB cream too, I find it gives good coverage and I rarely need to use a foundation.

I use a Nivea day cream under my foundation, I use one of Lancôme’s. It balances out my red facial patches plus covering my very pale skin.

I have found that foundation no longer looks good on my skin at all. It seems to 'show up' rather than cover blemishes! However, I should add that I have always had a sensitive, dry skin.

It adds a 'glow' that just evens out skin tone. They also do a concealer, and as winter progresses, I put little in my palm, add the serum and mix together. I can also use the concealer on anything specific.
I have also found their deodorant useful, since I developed an allergy to most commercial deodorants.

Try using a primer first. No.7 do one m and s or pur. They really help smooth things out.

Totally agree with the Boots No 7 advice. I was having problems finding a decent foundation and went to a No 7 counter for advice. The advisor was really helpful and now I have the perfect foundation. I used to use a setting spray but not really sure how much this helped. I always apply my Foundation with brush and clean it regularly.

I use Olay moisturiser and then mix a little Boots no.7 match made custom blend foundation drops with a small amount of airbrush away primer and smooth it over. It is quick and easy to use. Go to the Boots no.7 counter and the beautician will match your skin to the shade that suits you. You use as much as you need. Lasts for ages.

I use Garnier BB cream foundation. Very even finish but quite light and suits my skin. I always apply it with a brush , not my fingers

Clinique products seem to suit me. Very helpful advice from counter staff also in department store.

I massage a lot of moisteriser into my face and then add little more than a teardrop of foundation to my face. It blends with the moisteriser and I find the colour comes out very evenly.
