The Swedish Royal Family

The king of Sweden has removed five of his grandchildren from the royal family. They'll no longer have royal titles or carry out duties.

Royals

Does anyone think our own RF should do something similar? Maybe just the queen/king and heir, not the heir to the heir and the brother of the heir to the heir, and the various wives, cousins and so on. The British RF is ridiculously large.

The Queen has eight grandchildren, two carry out royal duties

I wasn't just thinking of grandchildren but the likes of Edward, Andrew, Sophie, the Kents, etc., all with titles and privileges but not vital to the monarchy as an institution.

The second and third in line to the throne in Sweden will still
carry out royal duties.

And his children will still carry out royal duties so no different
to our royal family

Why not ? They should be "thinned out ". This is the reason that so many are against us having a Royal Family. It's not right that we have so many followers-on.
