Chicken Risotto, using up yesterday's chicken leftovers. Risotto is so easy to cook and you can add anything that you like. I use half a Spanish onion, garlic, salad pepper, bunch of spring onions and a cup full of frozen peas and sweetcorn, 50/50. Pour over a jug full of chicken gravy, add the risotto rice and simmer.

I'm down to the last portion of the pesky Swedish meatballs - they're out defrosting. I'll have them with mixed peppers, courgettes, red onions, garlic etc, plus wine.

I'm fed up hmm

I can’t remember the last time I had Vienneta. I’m putting it on my shopping list.
Roast chicken today and probable stewed home grown rhubarb.

"Cook" Chicken Tikka Masala and basmati rice, my husband thinks their products are too small, I don't, but I've made a blackberry and apple crumble, with cream for afters to sustain him if he does deem it inadequate.!

Cabbie21 Sat 09-May-20 17:39:27

Chicken cooked open slow cooker.

I need ideas for a very expensive lamb steak from the local butcher, for tomorrow. I know it will be good quality so I don’t want to ruin it or shrink it. NB we like meat well cooked. I am thinking of cutting it into four and doing a tray bake in the oven with various veg. But am open to ideas.

Stir fry veg with egg fried rice and gf breaded scampi on top because they're lovely with Sharwoods plum sauce which is also gluten free.
