Libby Not Working.

The woman who drives the mobile library vehicle, very bravely and skillfully I think, has been ringing all her customers during lockdown for a chat every 2 weeks. She is a lovely cheerful soul so must have been a godsend to her very elderly readers. She has said they are now going to deliver a selection of books to those in Warden assisted sheltered housing. There are a lot of people who still do not use a computer. For the rest of us I guess Libby is the answer.

My library rang me today to ask if I still wanted a couple of books that I had reserved before lockdown.

I felt a bit guilty when I said no thanks, had read them on Libby!

It will be open from next Monday, but only to receive returned books and to give out requested ones.

So Libby will still be very relevant.

Libby has been a godsend for me too. Mine stopped working too a couple of weeks ago. I could not see the book I was reading or any books I had put on hold PANIC! The next morning it all came back Phew.

Just seen that our library should be re-opening next Monday. Libby has been a godsend during Lockdown, so grateful to tanith and other GN’ers who suggested it to me.

Shall keep using both.

Mine is working ok .

Mine stopped working as I need to renew my library card.

Can’t download it again as the app is open, don’t know how to get updates. If I go in to the app, it’s just another blank screen.

I’ve just tried and it seems to be working fine for me. Maybe try an update or download again.
