Egocentricity?

Or... Transposition?

You seem to start several diverse threads every day.

Personalisation.

Nothing more than pondering life jane

Self-pity?

Self centred?
Thoughtless?

I am looking for a word that sums up 'Ahh but, what about me?

As in:

Let's talk about you.

What do you think about me?

You devil Merlotgran!

Narcissistic

Love it Merlotgran ?

“What about me?” sums that woman up perfectly.
