Just watching a silly film. One character said that he came from a time when gay meant happy, a Big Mac was a large raincoat and safe sex meant a padded headboard.

Yes lovely times - persecuted, prosecuted, imprisoned for being gay. High rates of STD, unwanted pregnancies, backstreet abortions, limited availability of contraception. Wow being a woman or gay was so lovely then . How much madder we have become. (I’ll just get my mac)

suziewoozie It was a light-hearted post, just some gentle humour. When I said lovely times I suppose they were for me, life was uncomplicated probably because I was young and innocent then. Lovely times.

And events on gn lately have made me think that the world has definitely gone mad.
