I've only just finished my lunch, which was a shake consisting of kale, cherries, blackberries, almonds, hazelnuts, flax seeds and chia seeds, whizzed up with almond milk. It filled a tallish tumbler twice, and was surprisingly satisfying smile

As for dinner, well that'll be another story....

Had a late lunch today of homemade bread with caraway seed, toasted with Wensleydale cheese, and another toast with lemon curd with lots of tea.
Silver lining, hope you have recovered from your long walk and managed to get yourself something nice to eat.

Cheese on toast and a banana with a cuppa.

As a posh southerner we had fish fingers and chips. I have got a nasty attack of migraine today and didn't feel up to the planned sausage casserole. Fish fingers etc, only required me to put them in the air fryer for 10 minutes and they were ready to eat.

Tangerine Tue 23-Mar-21 14:04:41

Scrambled eggs on toast followed by a banana and cup of coffee.

Witzend Tue 23-Mar-21 14:01:23

Nowt so fancy here. The remains of the chicken, leek and mushroom pie we had the night before last.

Dh always get his own lunch - creature of habit, much the same every day - so I’m nearly always the one who polishes off leftovers.

Now Jane you missed that I said 'mashed' not 'smashed' avocado - that makes me very un-posh!

You poor Northerners with yer wholemeal toast and smoked salmon grin

timetogo2016 Tue 23-Mar-21 13:55:07

Ham/lettuce/tomatoe and beetroot on wholemeal bread.

janeainsworth Tue 23-Mar-21 13:52:12

Careful Riverwalk you’ll have someone coming along and accusing you of being a posh lass, with your smashed avocado for lunch grin
It’s grim up north.
We only had scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast with smoked salmon?

My life revolves around a daily walk and food so forgive me!

Here is my lunch: mashed avocado with lime juice & chilli flakes, strong cheddar, on a toasted sandwich thin spread with Dijon mustard, and slow-roasted tomatoes; plus rocket & beetroot.

I'm now thinking about dinner
