I’ve used M&S ‘Formula’ range of skincare and makeup remover for years. It’s very reasonably priced and I prefer it to the Boots equivalents. Look Fabulous Forever is good for makeup but it’s pricey for skincare. M&S ‘Formula Restore’ works well for me and it’s also cruelty-free. I also use their ‘beauty balm’ (like tinted moisturiser) occasionally as I don’t like foundation. I buy online as I don’t have an M&S near me in the sticks. I wear eye makeup every day, applied with a light touch, and buy from a range of different companies. Can recommend LFF mascara and Maybelline ‘24 hour tattoo’ cream eyeshadow, they do lots of shades but I like Taupe (don’t be put off by the name, long lasting and nice on older eyelids). Also LFF lipstick if going ‘out out’, otherwise a tinted lip balm (Christian Dior Lip Glow is lovely, pricey but lasts for ever). I don’t read magazines, if I want something I search online and look at the reviews. It was through searching for a sweat-proof eye pencil recently that I discovered Marc Jacobs eye pencil which is everything-proof and the best I’ve ever found. Just a tiny bit along the roots of my lashes makes a huge difference. I’m afraid the no-makeup look adds years to me Espee, you’re obviously much luckier than I am!
By the way if you buy something from LFF and find it’s not for you you can return it for a full refund.
