I'm quite angry right now as my husband was prescribed antibiotics earlier this week because of a problem with his breathing. He had a telephone consultation with the GP on Monday afternoon who said it was probably a chest infection. I did wonder how he could be sure over the phone. Fast forward to last night and my husband was taken to A&E after a 111 phone conversation, to find out he had blood clots on his lungs. Now I'm not a medical expert but I'm sure this could be a life threatening condition if the clots find their way to other organs? Who do I complain to? I just can't do nothing as some other poor soul may suffer with the same problem and also be fobbed off with antibiotics when they really need prompt proper medical attention. Would it be the Practice Manager? I know we are in a tricky situation currently but surely breathing difficulties shouldn't be dealt with over the phone!
I have bunions. Looking for a shoe that is comfortable.
