Slow cooker temperatures

I Googled Slow cooker to oven conversions and it said, 'divide the slow cooker High setting by 2.' More information there too. Hope this is helpful.

300f is what Google tells me.

I think my slow oven is 100 degrees if that is at all relevant!

I’ve temp checked slow cooker and high was about 90 deg C. Might depend on brand of slow cooker

Also type of oven! If slow cooking in oven, assuming it’s a type of casserole, I’d bring it to just simmering on top first, then put in oven on slow setting for same length of time as slow cooker recipe suggests

But my recipe says to cook on high in the slow cooker. My cooker has a slow cooker setting but that is the low slow cooker setting IYSWIM.

I think it might be gas Mark 3. If we all die of food poisoning, I got it wrong.

kitty if I do a 3/4 hour casserole type thing I’m the oven I bring it up to simmer, then 150c.

Can’t you just lengthen the cooking time?

If i slow cook anything I also bring to heat and then cook at 120 on fan

none of this helps does it?

Uncle Google says Low on slow cooker is 95c and High is 150c
