Still not dressed. No point really. I'm nice and cosy and have a good book on the go. Large sleepy cats have passed out (again) . Atmosphere so peaceful it seems a shame to disturb it.

It gets worse. Just opened a card in the post. From my best friend.

It is very stormy here too, so I'm glad my youngest is not in a football team anymore poor you galaxy. I always wondered why the season is through such rubbish weather. It is even worse when you are freezing to death on the side of the pitch

I have cleaned the house, emptied the bins, had a bath and put a wash on. I am about to cook bacon

Thought I’d shop early rather than walk the dog. It’s drier that way. Just watching an episode of The Good Life. How things have changed, but I wonder if an people chose to have an allotment or go off grid because of the programme?

It’s not so good though when she takes herself out at 2am, and decides to go barmy at the foxes

This reminds me of when we lived in Sheffield and a dog was barking its head off in the middle of the night. It woke the whole neighbourhood up, I think. Eventually a man put his head out of a window and yelled in broad Yorkshire: "Shut that bloody dog up!"

The dog stopped barking very shortly after that.

Been up and dressed since 7:15, glorious sun now after the teeming rain earlier, taking the GC’s home in a minute then back for breakfast and the paper.
I’ve only been out to the bins , twice, it’s definitely cooler.

In fact, a few hours ago DH asked what day is it, I think that I only know by what’s on the radio

Nope, it’s grey and drizzly outside, enjoying my kick start espresso so not awake, awake quite yet.

Still in bed. Husband brought porridge and coffee on a tray.
Switched on radio to listen to The Archers. And wondered why it was replaced by some chat show. Took me a few minutes.

Thanks for you comments re the egging. It was a bit grim and annoying - no yolk - sorry. It’s sorted now but a damp and soggy start to the day.

Went for my booster jab at 8.15 this morning it was raining cats and dogs, raincoat, wellies and brolly luckily it wasn’t too windy. There were people in the queue complaining it was past their appointment times and they shouldn't have to queue and giving the poor volunteer what for, disgusting ungrateful sods.
It’s still raining but I’m back indoors having brekkie.

10.06 and I’m still sitting here in my dressing gown. Where is the lazy cow emoji when you need it?
Still raining a little but I dare say it will brighten up in time for my walk. It did yesterday, anyway.

Yesterday, tho, I was out early for a walk and a chat with a local walking group and the weather was much better than expected.

Yes? with full wet weather gear out with the dog for his morning constitutional ☔️?.
Back now and just had breakfast of fried egg and mushrooms and tomato. Now sat with coffee.
Needless to say it has stopped raining.

No, am also in dressing gown and on my second cup of tea. Have two dogs to walk and waiting for the rain to stop!
