Looks delicious! I had tinned soup ?

I've recently taken a liking to tinned Mulligatawny soupsmile

Last eaten as a teenager - such a taste of the past with that sweet 'English curry' flavour!

Chunky vegetable soup, made with the scraps from the bottom of the fridge (carrots, leek, pepper, spinach, sugar snap peas, tomatoes, garlic, onion, almost fresh herbs) and (shop bought) flatbread... lovely.

I had a macaroni pie. Hit the spot nicely.

My husband made homemade soup using the pumpkin from yesterday's display. I'm lucky he is a retired chef.

My lazy favourite is a chopped apple with some bits of cheese, a few dates, nuts, olives ( the black salted ala grecque ones) then it’s just easy picking.

Home made soup , it was a delicious surprise as it wasn’t labelled ! My freezer is full of such items , I never label soup as I do about a dozen single helpings and am usually rushing !

We have just shared a tin of mushroom soup, with home baked sourdough baton.

I made a pot of soup with vegetables in the fridge which needed using. Carrots, celery, onion and kale. At the end of cooking I added a tin of rinsed red kidney beans. A delicious lunch with some grated cheese melted on the top.
