We used Randox Glasgow a couple of weeks ago and had our results emailed to us in a couple of hours. I will be contacting them to arrange another day 2 test for our return. They were pleasant and efficient with lots of cheerful staff.

Seems a LOT of info and choices on internet. Maybe you just have to do some research? Even if someone suggested here, no guarantee. Have a great Christmas am sure you will work it out.

Too many stories of randox not returning results plus their app didn’t work at all for me,

Why don't you trust Randox? They were the most reliable, in my experience, although that was 4 months.

Can't use the NHS tests for travel. You have to get them done privately.

I don’t think so.
Thing it needs to guarantee result within 24 hours.

Can't you just book one at a testing centre or send for one on the NHS website?

Having read this “ Everyone entering the UK (other than those coming from the Common Travel Area that covers the Channel Islands and Ireland) will have to take PCR test by the end of the second day after their arrival and self-isolate until they receive a negative result”.

I’m going abroad over Christmas and will need to do PCR. I have zero confidence in Randox. Does anyone know of a quick and reliable company ?
