Reading One Flew over the cookoos nest. You can really imagine Jack Nicholson playing the lead role fighting the system in a phychriatic institution in the 60's.His main battle being with the Head Nurse. Not looking forward to the ending if the same as the film.Enjoyable read.

Black Narcissus by Rumer Godden.

The 1947 film is one of my all-time favourites but I've never read the book.

I've always fancied myself at Sister Ruth!

NotAGran55 can I ask please if you got a sticker for your car in the handbook. They usually come just inside the cover, mine was either missing or you don’t get them anymore.

The Madness of Crowds, by Louise Penny - the latest Inspector Gamache novel and certainly gives pause for thought.

I listened to the audiobook and she really brought it to life with her incredible repertoire of accents, such a good actress.
I loved it, surprised but not shocked ?.

Hidden Valley Road by Robert Kolker.
Grandpajo, if you are enjoying One flew over the Cuckoos nest, you may be interested in this, an American family with twelve children, six of whom develop schizophrenia, parallels with the Jack Nicholson character, really interesting.
