Last night I drifted off to sleep having resolved to do something today. I felt quite cheerful and positive about it too.
I don’t suppose anybody can tell me what it was? hmmhmm

We worked out who George Borders is. A friend of DH from University days. Sadly, he told dh that he needs heart surgery!

Go to a garden centre to buy some plants/seeds/compost?

That’s what I keep forgetting to do!

Callistemon21 Thu 17-Feb-22 20:48:12

MaybeMaw perhaps you were going to meet me for coffee with a lot of other people but I didn't turn up because I was struggling to get on my thick coat over a jacket and running/walking to the meeting place but not getting there for ages.

When I got there, everyone was leaving. The young man from Emmerdale who has bought a farm said "Never mind, Calli, you can kiss me on the cheek" but everyone else turned their backs on me and wouldn't speak, even the friendly woman I met at craft the other day!

I had a suitcase with me for some reason and was trying to cram stuff into it but it wouldn't shut.

That was my dream in the early hours of this morning.

Getting in touch with someone you like may have given you a nice feeling or possibly buying some hot cross buns?

kittylester Thu 17-Feb-22 16:59:31

I can beat that - I asked Alexa to remind me to phone someone this pm. She must have misheard as I've no idea who she is telling I should be phoning.

Anyone know George Borders?

merlotgran

Will you know if you've done it?

If not, you're back where you started! grin

Nope -still no idea, but it was a nice feeling as I resolved to do it the next day!

Oh! I'll have to go back to the top because I can't remember what the question is? ....... hmm

Kim19 Thu 17-Feb-22 16:00:59

It will be anything that you take off your 'to do' list.

PinkCosmos Thu 17-Feb-22 15:53:25

Sorry, didn't see Sarnia's previous post

PinkCosmos Thu 17-Feb-22 15:52:18

Maybe it was to remember to write a list before you went to bed so that you didn't forget anything grin

Gossamerbeynon1945 Thu 17-Feb-22 15:35:11

My memory is shocking. Is it an age thing? I am 76 and I have to writeeverything down.

Sarnia Thu 17-Feb-22 15:17:42

Perhaps you were thinking about finding a pen and paper to put on your bedside table so you can write down 'things to do tomorrow' before you drift off to sleep.

AreWeThereYet Thu 17-Feb-22 14:56:23

I wish I could help but sometimes when I wake up in the morning I can't remember who I am or where I am, so there's no chance I can remember what you meant to do ?

Have you remembered yet? And did you do it?

Patsy70 Thu 17-Feb-22 14:10:55

Yes, I try to do that boat, but sometimes I’m so confident that I’ll remember it the next day. Invariably, I don’t. ?
Have you remembered yet, MayBeMaw?

boat Thu 17-Feb-22 13:53:04

Nowadays when I say to myself I must remember to .... I immediately tell myself to do it NOW. If not feasible I write myself a note.

Oopsadaisy1 Thu 17-Feb-22 13:46:18

Buy yourself some flowers, chocolates and watch a good film?

grandtanteJE65 Thu 17-Feb-22 13:41:43

Well, I imagine you have already thought of the things on my to do list. Charming things like hoovering the sitting-room and getting rid of the dust under our double bed,

I also have two toilets in need of cleaning, and a floor or two to wash.

Ring any bells?

I thought so.

I haven't done any of the above (yet) but have battened down the hatches after hearing the weather forecast and done some extra shopping, and sent two short stories to one very bored grandson driving his mother distracted due to the wet weather in this week off school.

Are you sure, you didn't promise yourself a nice day doing nothing except what you like doing (and taking the dog out)?

Wheniwasyourage Wed 16-Feb-22 14:20:33

To go upstairs and still remember when you got there why you had gone?

Kateykrunch Wed 16-Feb-22 14:16:44

It was to download Wordament and let me know your score.

MayBeMaw Wed 16-Feb-22 14:07:46
