Any one else still doing their own decorating?

Funny enough I’ve just boxed up most of my decorating gear to get rid (on the drive if anyone wants it) my GS has said if I need decorating done he’ll do it for me, so apart from the odd touch up here and there I won’t be doing my own decorating again.

I feel like giving up, had someone in to decorate a room. But I found fault after he had gone, but didn’t say anything, I’m so fussy. Can’t summon any enthusiasm now, I understan how people give up.

Just spent most of the afternoon painting 2 walls. Felt a bit grumpy whilst doing the job, even though I was enjoying listening to the radio. Used to like DIY - think maybe at 68 I’ve had enough!!
Husband gave up helping about 4 years ago so think I’ll down tools too.
Would rather be in the garden -
