As it's Friday I might have the last of the sardine fillets or salmon fillet that are lurking in the freezer for lunch, and goodness knows what for dinner.

Ocado delivery later this morning so I'll be spoilt for choice smile

Lemon sole on the bone was on offer at 50% off but I have a feeling it might be a bit measly in size?

I might stick to my diet of either chicken or fish with lots of vegetables. Or I might give in to that frozen curry ready meal in the freezer... confused

Dinner-Lamb koftas with rice and chargrilled veg.
Lunch? No idea yet.

I’m having a sandwich lunch today in a cafe near where my WI Group are doing a bit of pottery! Tonight I’m cooking trout fillets, new potatoes and who knows what else.

Boiled egg, toast and apple for lunch.
Dinner will be ham with vegetables.

I'm going out with family for lunch so possibly steak pie. Tea will be the remains of a chicken curry in a tortilla wrap.

Lunch I’m out with a friend, so not sure, but it’ll be low carb. Dinner is cottage pie with Swede on my portion instead of mash, with cauliflower and cabbage.

I shall have a sandwich at my daughter's midday. We have a family funeral at 2pm, followed by afternoon tea. Not sure what I will make for supper on my return home.

I don't eat lunch, dinner will be pasta with pesto and feta.

Blossoming Fri 29-Apr-22 11:36:34

I have no idea, my eating plan is up the spout thanks to nausea and loss of appetite. Your posts here have given me the impetus to do some food planning, thank you.

Home made courgette and Parmesan soup for lunch.

Out to the pub with a few ex volunteering colleagues and I usually have Tandoori chicken starter because it's gf. We share a bowl of skinny chips and talk an awful lot.

Supper will be Swiss Cheese Bake with lots of chopped gherkins when DD2 and her daughters arrive - possibly 8.30.

Have just made some lentil and tomato soup for lunch. I added a red chilli to spice it up so I hope it won’t be too hot.

Dinner will be prawn salad with baby potatoes followed by sticky toffee pudding. Well we do have the grandchildren here to have most of it.

fairfraise Fri 29-Apr-22 12:30:44

Smoked salmon and fresh crusty bread for lunch. I could not leave the last carton of Char Siu Pork on Waitrose's shelves so I will have that with egg fried rice. Maybe I will open a bottle of dry white, finishing it off on Monday, a BH.

MissAdventure Fri 29-Apr-22 13:31:11

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 29-Apr-22 13:54:10

Salad for lunch, home cooked fish and chips for dinner as always on Fridays.

lixy Fri 29-Apr-22 13:58:21

Bread and cheese with a pear and an apple shared between us here for lunch, as it is most days in fact.

Dinner tonight: Jamie Oliver's recipe for sticky mango prawns. Always some kind of fish on a Friday!

Creature of habit? Me? surely not!

callistemon now my mouth's watering - haven't had a chip buttie for years.

grandtanteJE65 Fri 29-Apr-22 13:58:49

Lunch isn't meal here. You grab a slice of bread and something.

Today, I came home from the shopping spree I carry out on the day my pension goes into my bank account with cinnomon buns, so that sorted lunch.

Dinner will be fried chicken liver and onions with potatoes - I haven't yet decided whether to mash them or just have plain boiled spuds.
