Good morning. I have agreed to make cakes for my first WI coffee morning. Does any have any idea what sells well?

Traybakes sell well, easy to transport, easy to portion and can be bought to take home. Fancy cupcakes look good but are difficult to eat and transport, fresh cream is a no due to refrigeration.

Definitely traybakes. Mary Berry has a lovely recipe for lemon drizzle tray bake. Lime and coconut is good too.

Banana, walnut and date loaf. It improves after a day or so, so you can make it in advance.

Scones sweet and savoury ones. Who doesn't love a scone. Biscuits are easy and sell well.
