Ideas please.
My MIL (aged 89) has narrow, size 6 feet. Does anyone have any suggestions for comfortable shoes that might work for her, please? She has trouble with her feet, in particular her big toes. All the specialist shops seem to cover wide feet not narrow.
Thank yousmilesmile

I have narrow feet size 7 and have always had difficulty in finding shoes to fit. Nowadays the trend for casual and trainer style footwear has been a blessing. I find that a laceup shoe with a good toe-box works for me. The toe box is so important. It needs to have lots of space.
I recently got a pair of Skechets, lovely red leather lace up and they are wonderful, cost £67. Expensive enough but I can wear them all day even though I have arthritis in my feet and usually have to use thick insoles and change to different footwear several times throughout the day.
I also have a pair of Gabor of the same style (picked up brand new in a Charity Shop for £5) and have been wearing them for at least 10 years.
