Is it bad manners to attend a funeral bare-legged in hot weather?

I personally like to wear tights funeral or anywhere formal to look as smart as I could. I wouldn't wear them because I felt my legs didn't come up to scratch to meet some sort of approval and that they must be hidden.

Personally I would wear tights at a funeral , although I can't see a problem if people didn't wear them, I certainly wouldn't comment, possibly after the funeral go to the loo & take them off ... saying that whatever you feel comfortable

Where I live people are usually very formal and do wear black at funerals even on hot days. Not been to a funeral for over four years now so who knows attitudes may well have changed.

I went to a funeral last year on a boiling hot day and felt that I should dress formerly and wore tights !
There was no " wake " afterwards so it was a
relatively short occasion .

Perhaps you could ask ?!
I'd be inclined to wear them and take them off discreetly in the loo if needs be - too uncomfortable/no one else wearing them !

I've done it - but with a fairly long, dark skirt on.

I can't really see what difference it makes, as people dress in all sorts nowadays.

Dress code is all bit old fashioned now.
