Is this a record? Four cancellations and counting....

Yes, I would remind them that they cancelled four times, hopefully they can make up for the inconvenience.

Good luck, and enjoy! Fingers crossed...

Our son gave us a voucher for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast at one of our favourite local hotels as a Golden Wedding present last August. The first booking was cancelled 'because the head chef's wife had gone into premature labour and had to travel with her to Aberdeen for the birth. The second booking was cancelled as staff had been invited to London for an event to thank them for their community support during lockdown. The third booking was cancelled our end because of a family crisis and the fourth was not accepted as the package was only available 'off season" - We had thought it would be nice to stay on midsummer night when we would have daylight round the clock so we could watch the wildlife and had forgotten about the restrictions on the voucher by then.... We are now booked for 19th November to celebrate DH's birthday.... 15 months after receiving the gift...and hoping fifth time lucky. It wouldn't feel so bad but our week long GW family celebrations were cut short when, amongst other disasters, 2 members were struck down with food poisoning and the events of the remaining 4 days had to be cancelled....
