Can anyone recommend places to buy them at a reasonable price please?

M&S. I have bought two recently which are lovely. Really warm, I use them in the evening under my PJ's as I have no heating on.

I've had my thermal vests from sainsbury for at least 5 years, I've got a mix of long and short sleeves. They wash well and feel cosy.

I hadn't noticed the different heats NotSpaghetti thanks. Luckily I have ordered a selection of both, so I can send some back if I want to. I also ordered thermal jeans. To arrive Wednesday.

Damage for me. Have a few of various styles and thicknesses for !any years now.

The M&S ones are 2 different "warmths" - "Heatgen" and "Heatgen Plus".
I like the Heatgen a lot. I have several, the oldest are 5 ears old now I think.

M&S last for ages. I like them because they’re thin and they don’t show at the neckline of my round necked jumpers.

I have two Sainsburys ones which have been worn more or less on rotation for about six winters.

I bought another one last week, they have a choice of thickness/warmth and are £13 I think.

I can recommend, with a proviso, the M & S ones - (because mine are about 3 years old, so I can’t vouch for the quality of them now). They are warm, comfortable and wash well.

My Sainbury's ones have lasted for ages and are warm. OH has some from Mountain Warehouse, also warm and long-lasting.

I bought one recently from Sports Direct (£8) in the camping section.

Damart?

Not just for old ladies ?

Joseanne Sat 22-Oct-22 15:55:28

I like the polo neck thermal vest tops, M & S.

PoppyFlower Sat 22-Oct-22 15:23:50

M&S ! I have had two long sleeved thermal tops that are several years old and still OK! I bought an extra thermal one a year ago, it's perfect for autumn without needing a jumper on top!

Several sorts here.

NotSpaghetti Sat 22-Oct-22 15:16:00

I use M&S ones.
Several colours and certainly (up to last year) two thicknesses.
I like the thinner ones best.

Damart?

Fleurpepper Sat 22-Oct-22 15:10:50

Patra is great for silk ones, the best. And Damart has good quality long sleeve vests.

Jaxjacky Sat 22-Oct-22 14:56:15

Decathlon are good and reasonably priced £5.99 for long sleeved tops.

Elegran Sat 22-Oct-22 14:27:47

I reckon almost any long-sleeved T-shirt made of reasonably thick interlock fabric, worn under a shirt and a jumper/cardigan is pretty good at holding in body heat. An ordinary sleeveless vest or top under the T-shirt makes an extra layer for your torso if you need it.

Layers is the secret.
