Morrison's Data Services - Smart Meter check?

they have been the meter reading company for years around here. we are eon.
nothing to worry about. but could you set up a password, so that you can be sure it's them, not an impersonator.
i'm sure they will inform you of the reading if you ask them; why wouldn't they.

They read my meter (British Gas) last week.

One of their staff came and read our meters before they were changed. All above board for us bea

Morrisons are often in my area, yes they read meters, generally say they are checking meter for safety but i say no you are checking I am not fiddling the meter. (don't have and don't want a smart meter)

Their Companies House profile looks good enough.

I must confess I have never asked them for their reading.
My meters are in my garage and like you I cannot read them myself, too old and decrepit 😉
I suppose I just trust them.

Hi annsixty thats good to know...do they actually advise you of the readings when they're done? I cannot access my gas meter as have poor mobility and the actual meter was meant to be changed few years ago as it was water logged! Despite my many follow ups, nothing has been achieved..just hope the actual gas meter reading isn't off the charts

They have been reading my meter on behalf of EDF for some time now with no problem.

Volver / Theexwife yes i've googled them but wanted to know on here if anyone has had a visit from them? NotSpaghetti think i've requested this a few times over the longest WhatsApp message trail ever ..i also want to be in at home when they do visit as want to see for myself accurate readings..

I googled Morrison Data Services and they are a meter reading company. Never heard of them before though.

If you google them you can see that they are a reputable company, contact them directly if you want to.

Tell the bot you need to speak to a person. That often works.
