November Premium Bond Draw

I've just been googling and it seems the chance of any individual bond winning has reduced over the last few months from 1 in 34,500 to 1 in 24,000. Still big odds to beat but a great improvement. I wonder if that is why some of us are having a bit more success? Of course we'll probably now have months without so much as a sniff of a prize

My OH has won £50 this month. Since I was a child, I have the grand sum of £11 in bonds and, unsurprisingly, have never won a thing! Congratulations to the winners.

£275 in October but nothing today!

We have never one! Admittedly only a small holding for both of us. Out of interest I looked at the winners this month and it seems like you have to hold ten, twenty or more thousand to win! I found only one winner holding £750 and one at £1000.

£125 for us this month. £50 last month and an unheard of £500 the month before.

Have they increased the prizes in line with interest rates?

We both use the app like Doodledog. Have won £25 prizes in the past, one month a couple of years ago I got 5! Last month for the first time we both won a £25 and a £50 prize, until then I hadn't realised there was a £50 one. This month I've won 2 x£25 and DH has won another £50 and £25. Not sure what treat we'll spend it on, but very welcome and a repeat performance next month would be equally welcome!

Mine was £100 this month I might treat myself to a new coat.

My friend recommends refreshing numbers. She cashes some in and buys new. She seems to “win” often (she donates her winnings to different charities).

I have an app which lets me check. I’ve had it for years, but you just put your details in once then click on the ‘Reveal Results’ button to see if you’ve won. I got £50 this month.

I won nothing for ages then got on a winning streak and have had small prizes for the last few months. Long may it continue!

I am going to spend it on thermal tops and fleeces to save on heating as long as I can.

They do get in touch by email, usually four days after the draw.

No they don't get in touch with you if you win.

Just go online and check, you need your holders number. If your address info is up to date with them, you will be contacted, but I love checking as soon as the info is available.
