We’re not used to weather like this in Buckinghamshire 😳
I’ve definitely become a southern softie. I am wearing leggings, warm trousers, a long sleeve thermal top, a warm sweater and a long wool jacket.

We have the heating ratcheted up. I feel so much for people who can’t afford to do that and especially those in Ukraine. We don’t just feel sorry for folks we do something about it, in case I sound smug in my warm home.

It's 3, pity - no snow. Suffolk.

The dogs love snow as do all my family.

Greater Manchester here. About 2/3 inches deep and freezing fog too. Still snowing. I don't intend going anywhere today.

I’m north Manchester. It took me an hour to dig my car out. It’s thawing now but may freeze overnight

In North Yorkshire and nothing.

I expect there is some up on Dartmoor but none here yet just off the moors.
Heavy Frost this morning though.

Dunblane very icy and cold, with little powdery showers.

Still a heavy, white frost here in Durham - near the City, but no snow, thank goodness!

I thought there was a sprinkling of snow when I looked out first thing but it's a thick layer of frost. Melted now and it's a glorious sunny day.

BlueBalou Sat 10-Dec-22 12:19:49

Thankfully not here on the Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire border although it’s very cold out. The frost is sparkling in the bright sunshine, it is beautiful (seen from my warm living room!)
I honestly don’t want anything either, we’re well off the main road, on top of a hill. I guess I’m used to getting stuck indoors in bad weather!

None here in Brum I'm glad to say. I hate the stuff. We want to get to the pub to watch the match later so we're hoping it stays away.

I live just a few miles from Manchester airport and can confirm it was a very light dusting which has now mostly thawed.

North Essex is below freezing with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. Lovely and too cold for snow....is that really true?

Haha! That used to drive me mad. As a child I was always hoping for snow and my father would just say, too cold for snow. I think he was probably right but it did infuriate me!

Casdon Sat 10-Dec-22 12:06:04

We are having flurries in the Brecon Beacons, it is settling as it’s -5. More forecast later.

Zoejory Sat 10-Dec-22 12:05:45

I saw the footage of Manchester Airport where loads of planes were unable to move. The snow appeared to be the depth of the dusting of icing sugar on a Victoria sponge.

No snow here, in my part of Wales, but pretty 🥶

Shinamae Sat 10-Dec-22 12:03:11

Not my part of north Devon but higher up nearer the moors I think… freezing cold so pond froze over, but scratch absolutely loved it.. The conditions seem to have had an adverse effect on my plant tent!!🤦‍♀️

Yes. North East.

Aveline Sat 10-Dec-22 12:01:32

White out in Edinburgh.

sazz1 Sat 10-Dec-22 11:57:23

No snow here yet in South Devon but I know parts of North Devon has it and read Manchester Airport closed due to the white stuff. I love it, so do our dogs, and hope we get some soon.
