Have you got Just3words on your phone or a green bottle in the fridge?

I have the what3words app on my phone. It has helped me direct loads of delivery drivers to houses in our area. I also give my what3words address to companies such as DPD as my house can't be seen from the roadside.
I don't have a green bottle in my fridge though. I didn't know about that one.

We use what3words in our address all the time. It has meant delivery people have not had the excuse of not being able to find us. We are a little 'off road', i.e. no street, no house number, etc, but not sigificant enough to be easily found if you are clueless about the area. A very useful app.

Doodledog

I have the app, but don't know what the bottle in the fridge thing is about.

The Lions run something called ‘Message in a bottle’. It is a free service. You can get a bottle and a form to fill in with all your medical details. Fill it in, pop it in the fridge, put green stickers on your front/back door (I presume they come with the kit)
If you need an ambulance or paramedic they will know to look in your fridge and then they know what meds you are on, blood group ect.

Last year we came across an accident on a road in the middle of nowhere. We had had to follow a number of diversions and so didn’t know where we were and our sat nav had lost its signal. We called 999 who were trying to work out where we were, then I remembered DH had what3words on his phone. Both the paramedics, and police told us it was way more accurate than relying on grid references and also meant the air ambulance could locate incidents easily and quickly.

If you have then have you ever needed them?
I went along to an evening to brush up on my CPR Defibrillator skill last night. The Air Ambulance volunteer mentioned both of the above.
I’m definitely going to list details of my blood group and medical history and pop it in the fridge but not so sure about the app. Part of me thinks why not ? Part of me is reluctant to put anything else on my phone that knows where I am.
