Emergency alert!

Although we both have the same phones, OH had his at 15.19 and I haven't had anything. We have 4g here but it comes and goes, leaving us with 3g. Our phones are relatively new.

My phone alert sounded at 3pm precisely.

My phone was in the office at work but no absolutely nothing.

I’m on EE and mine went off bang on 3 quite loudly lol

My phone is on Giffgaff and went off at 2.55

Both Vodafone - Dh's went off just after 3 and mine a couple of minutes after his.

Not a peep! Really disappointed.

I'm O2.... Samsung...mine went off at 1458.... it wasn't very loud

I saw the alert on my phone Motorola because I looked at it but didn't have any sound.

My DH had the alert and I didn't. Obviously this is a case of discrimination as the powers that be consider his life more important than mine 😉

I didn't hear a thing, but later heard that many people on the 3 system didn't and since I am on 3, I assume that was the reason.

I got mine at 3.10. DS didn't get anything but he is with 3.

Our DS and DGD came to collect their dog which had spent the weekend with us. We were sitting chatting when my phone went off which surprised us as we had completely forgotten about the alert. DSs phone and DHs phones didn’t go off. The dog didn’t notice anything.

My Android on O2 went off at 1459. DW's Apple on Vodafone remained silent.

Vodafone here, mine went off at 1459 and DH’s at 1501 whilst out in the car together.

Mines an android and a nicky no name but it went off on schedule. Im with EE.

My husband’s went off at 3.00.
I remained silent. We are both with 02.

I'm with Vodafone and mine went off at 3pm yesterday and also at 5.20am this morning !!!!!! Anyone else get a 2nd alert?

Unusually, I was out at the time and I didn't hear it as my mobile was in my handbag which muffles the sound. I'd previously lowered the volume so it didn't startle me as I hate loud, sudden noises and opted out of future alarms. If that turns out to be a mistake it's too bad.

Both ours (G4) went off on the dot at 3 p.m., here on Tyneside. Also over-rode my low volume setting, and really blared out, so it worked well.

In all day. Never heard a sound, had my number for years. Big flop. Perhaps they just chose random numbers to test.

My tablet sounded the alert at 2.59 but my Sony phone didn't.

In a family group of about 12, including younger people. Different sorts of phones and systems.
Only 3 people got the message.
We are joking that the 3 will have to tell the other 9.

Nothing sounded here on smart phone/ipad or tablet.
