Has anybody bought any memorabilia mark the coronation?
TBH, I haven't seen much on sale apart from food and some bunting, but not the usual mugs or tea towels. Although I have seen coins advertised.
For the Platinum Jubilee last year there was much more bunting up in our area and quite a few of the streets had parties including ours, nothing on our village FB page or on our street has been mentioned for the coronation.
Some of the shops in town have made an effort, but mainly the charity shops tbh. With clothing in Red, white and blue.
I am sure my sister said all the children were given a mug or a coin for the queens coronation, ( I wasn't born) but I don't think that will happen these days. In the days of daily newspapers a bit centre page of the King & Queen would have also been given followed up a week or so later with a supplement with all the photos. But in today's world we see things more or less immediately online.
I will be watching by myself DH is in the other room with music playing as I know he will make comments all the way through otherwise. 🙄
