So instruction are as follows

K2tog, yfrn p2.

But I’m getting a hole - which isn’t right so for the yfrn I’m putting the yarn twice around the needle to purl.

So it is yfrn that I’m getting wrong

There is also yon as well

Does that make sense? Would be grateful for help please

Thanks in advance

Actually as you were - I’ve just utubed and I seem to be doing it correctly so hole it is🙄 I’m sure it isn’t correct but I’ll plough on.

yrfn - yarn forward round needle is technically an increase between a knit and a purl stitch. Here's Johnny Vasquez explaining:

What does the next row ask you to do? Does it say knit through the back loop maybe which would tighten it up?

Oh I’ll have a look. I’ve put it to one side as I’m getting tired and making mistakes. The pattern is more complicated than I realise but I’ll keep persevering. It is a rowen pattern and wool.
Got the wool 50% off.

Thanks for replying.

Lots of Rowan is lovely!
Hope you "fix" whatever seems to be wrong!
