I finally got through to the bank late afternoon and they can’t take any more of my money. Bit worrying that they have my details though sad
I have found government approved chipping registration services on the Gov website.
These scammers really are lowlifes, causing unnecessary stress angry

We're with Petlog, and have been for some years.

Takes so long to sort stuff like that through the bank and I work in an operating theatre so constantly called in during breaks etc sad
I will try tho. Thanks for advice.
Anyone know a legitimate site so I don’t fall for it again?

Yours may not have been a scam but contact your bank asap to stop any unknown payments.

Ask your boss if you can use your phone to contact your bank - and explain why (you think you've been scammed over the cat chip). I'm sure he/she will understand and allow you some work time to put your mind at rest.

Hi all
Has anyone been caught out with scam cat chipping websites?
I didn’t know they were even a thing but saw a warning on a lost pets FB page.
My cat is missing and I only registered her chip last night after realising it’s not done by the vets when they carry out the chipping (please don’t judge my naivety!)
Now I am worried I will have my bank account emptied!
I am at work so don’t have time to research.
I used ‘Petsmicrochip’. Has anyone used them?
Bank account was ok this morning.
