It's very easy to get into Bristol from Portishead.. with all the cultural events they have there..

Stoker48 thank you for your reply.
We loved the house and were going to make an offer but unfortunately the vendors circumstances changed suddenly and they removed the property from the market 😤 so the search continues. I also spoke to a local while there and they love it which is always reassuring as it would be a “distance move” for us

I would love to live anywhere that has the word ‘Marina’ tacked onto it!

I don’t live there myself but I have a second cousin who does.
She and her husband moved there about 12 years ago.
They ate both late 50s. They love it there.
My cousin ( her mum) and husband moved there about two years ago. A big decision as they had lived in their previous house ( some 200 miles away) for over 40 years.
They settled quickly and love the house and the area.
Ive visited a few times and I’m very impressed.
How did you get on with your viewing?

We are viewing a property at Portishead Marina later this week. We are in our 60’s and in good health. Would love to hear if anyone lives there with your thoughts good or bad.
Have done a bit of research on clubs/classes ie. exercise/dance classes etc in the area for active oldies but it’s always good to hear from “people on the ground”
