Where to buy Marionettes?

Yes BB there are lots of Pelham puppets on e-bay and Etsy too. Some are quite alarming, especially the witches.
I’ve seen ordinary ones on Flog It going for next to nothing.

I would get quite a simple one from Amazon, about £10, they can be quite difficult to use and the more complicated ones could be disappointing if she were unable to make it do what she wants.

How old is your granddaughter ? If she is under 10 there are some fun string puppets on Amazon. If she is older then Etsy website have some more sophisticated,but more expensive, Pelham puppets. Good luck !

There’s lots on eBay some in boxes, some new, some pre loved all sorts for boys and girls or adults easy prices

I just had a look and got slightly more results when I googled string puppets than marionettes.

Are you anywhere near Henley on Thames? There is a barge based there which is converted to a puppet theatre, it tours up and down the river in the summer. Would tickets for a show be a good present, perhaps for a birthday?

Puppets by Post might do them. They are excellent for glove puppets, I'm not sure about marionettes.

There was a really good shop in Chester worth looking at if it is still in business we bought eldest DS1 a couple of puppets from there years ago not too expensive.

Just to add that I have Googked and I get really expensive ones or really cheap ones.
