Single Grandparenthood

Sharr, I feel bad now having just created a thread saying how warm and comfortable I am . You feel sad and alone I send you big (((( hugs )))) you work hard despite your health problem, you do amazingly well. You have AC and GC plus a new GC - how lovely .However you do have your down days and today seems to be one of them. Do hope you get responses here from people who can help you and lift you when you are feeling down and who knows that fulfilling relationship may be round the corner! 💐💐💐

Sharr I ve been alone a long time after two difficult and unsuccessful marriages
It was the better alternative and I m so used to it I m as happy as anyone really I do three days a week voluntary work which I love I have an allotment and go sea swimming all year round I hate cooking and kitchen stuff (well housework in general) I have plenty of friends and often have meals or coffee out I m happy to go to the cinema or threatre alone or with others
I have no family left any more apart from the ones I ve made myself 😀 and they are scattered around the world
I love shutting the door and knowing I m safe and ok
Acceptance is the key and life could be so much worse
Try and keep your spirits up by doing ‘ stuff’
I talk to prople at the bus stop, on the train, in the shops I’m not often bored
You have more than me I never have a full house, but that’s really ok
