We've had a letter from the Crematorium where Mum and Dad's ashes are buried. There is a stone there and a place to put flowers.
The letter is saying the lease is up for renewal and to contact them for a price.
The letter had gone to my younger brother and forwarded by his wife to me as he died this time last year. I suspect if any letters had come through before he would have delt with it and paid and not wanted to trouble us with it.
Has anyone else had to pay for a renewal on a cremation plot and if so can they remember how much it was and for how long?
I'll ring them next week, but wanted to hear the experiences of other lovely GNers before I do this. Thank you x
Washed towels in the sun and now like sandpaper.

or for 10 years £595. My brother is convinced he won't be here in 10 years so won't be worried when it runs out.
